B. S. in Public Health and Wellness

Public Health and Wellness focusses attention on protecting and promoting the health of our communities and the individuals that live within our communities. Public Health and Wellness professionals focus their attention on promoting positive health behaviors while also working to prevent disease and other health issues.

B. A. in Health Promotion & Wellness Management

Health Promotion is a process of supporting, training and encouraging others in the pursuit of well-being in all dimensions of a person's life. Learn how you can be this support with this major!

B. S. in Exercise Science

The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science prepares students interested in careers such as Clinical Exercise Physiology, Corporate Fitness, Strength and Conditioning, and Medical and Community Based Fitness and Wellness Centers. 

B. S. in Nutrition

This major prepares graduates to work as nutrition educators, counselors and exercise specialists, combining two essential areas of expertise as they serve clients in hospitals, worksite, community and school-based wellness and fitness programs. Students who are accepted into the dietetics concentration will participate in coursework that provides the foundation for them to pursue a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics to become Registered Dietitians. The professional phase of study (junior and senior year in the programs) is accredited as a Coordinated Program in Dietetics from Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

B. A. in Health Studies

This a degree completion program designed for students with an A.A.S. degree and Medical Technology or Clinical Medical Assistant certification. This program is not for freshman students.


Psychology of Sport & Exercise Minor

The goal of the Psychology of Sport and Exercise minor is to enhance knowledge in the field of psychology as it pertains to sport and exercise performance.

Athletic Training

This program is dvided into a 3 year Pre-Athletic Training Curriculum (undergraduate) and a 2 year Professional Athletic Training Program (graduate).  Students will be eligible for the Board of Certification Exam once completing the Master if Science in Athletic Training.

Nutrition and Dietetics

Students who are accepted into the coorindated Master of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics can become Registered Dietitians.
