- Neighborhood-level crime’s relationships with residents’ physical activity levels
- Community-based participatory research: place-building in inner-urban neighborhoods to reduce crime and promote physical activity and social cohesion
- Implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of physical activity interventions across multiple levels (e.g. family, community, and policy)
- Prevention of obesity and type 2 diabetes through promotion of physical activity
